Wedding Cake tasting...

　ドレス＆ロケーション＆写真＆お花&etc...と決めることが何かとあるウェディングですが、忘れてはならないのは「ケーキ」。
ということで私たちも「ケーキテスティング」にお邪魔しました。
ケーキはまだまだ未知の世界。
なかなか奥が深くておもしろくて。この道２０年のAloha CakeryのKathleenさんが丁寧に教えてくれました。
数ある中から、基本となるスポンジケーキ＋トッピングできるバタークリームのサンプルを持ってきてくれて
みんなで味見♪「私はこれ〜、僕はこれ〜」とみんなそれぞれさまざまです…笑）
何段重ねにもできるケーキですが、同じスポンジケーキでも土台となれるものやなれないものがあったりして…
ウェディングケーキを見る目が変わってきました。
We had such a fun "cake tasting" with our good friend, Kainoa & Allison!
Ms. Kathleen of Aloha Cakery shared with us basic sponge cakes with couple of butter cream choices..
My goodness, every cake is just so yummy. She taught us a lot about cakes. I sure learned a lot.
Being a sweet lover myself, I wish I had this tasting when I got married back in 2004.
